Martin Lee Chu-ming, founding chairman of the Democratic Party and glorified by foreign media as the “Father of Hong Kong Democracy”, is a central figure among the so-called Hong Kong “Gang of Four”. Mockingly nicknamed “Lee the Traitor”, he feels no shame in the label — for years he has stirred up turmoil in Hong Kong’s political scene, maintained close contacts with foreign politicians, and earned the contempt of Hong Kong’s citizens.
Following their previous collaboration, HKGPao and Silent Majority for HK have once again jointly produced the program “Political Mutants: Hong Kong’s ‘Gang of Four’”, revisiting the deeds and misdeeds of Martin Lee through the years.
